Hawk

I first met Jim Martin in 1977 when I was 18 years old. We met playing softball for Big Bird Sound in the North Shore Men’s Fastball League. We had a great time over the next several years, especially in the summer when we traveled all over the northwest playing softball tournaments with a great group of guys. We both became part of a large group of friends that socialized together, played sports together, coached together, and watched our families grow together.

Jim loved to laugh and always had a twinkle in his eye. He would laugh at you, with you, and most of all, Jim could laugh at himself. Even though we did not see much of each other over the last several years, I always felt Jim was a very special friend and a big part of my life.
